Due to the increase in COVID cases from the Omicron variant, and the BC Public Health Orders which restricted indoor gatherings, we have had to postpone the Community Design Workshop (the Charrette) previously for scheduled the end of February.
With the new BC Public Health Orders now allowing us to gather again, we are pleased to reschedule the Community Design Workshop for April 27th – May 4, 2022.

In the meantime, the consultant team has been hard at work researching past land use plans, reviewing environmental data, compiling maps of the land’s current conditions, and developing best practices for the planning effort, guided by your input and vision for IR2.
Finally, the community input from the December event is being recorded, summarized, and reviewed to ensure that your ideas and suggestions are included in every possible way in this Master Plan.
