“Our working group to build our community”
After the tremendously successful Community Dinner and Discussion last December, and a few delays over the past few months, it is time to continue the process of developing the Master Plan for the future of Musqueam Reserve #2.
But to do that, we need you!
From June 13 – 18, the Master Plan consultant team will be here at Musqueam to work with the community and develop different Master Plan options for you to consider.
These options will implement the community’s vision for:
…but only if you make your voice heard!
While there are many ways you can participate, there are two main community presentations (with dinner and lunch!) that you won’t want to miss. Plus, we will have great door prizes including gift cards, a new TV, and a brand new Apple iPad!
If you can’t make the scheduled events, you can stop by the Cultural Centre any time the workshop is open to ask questions, share ideas, and watch them work! Virtual options will also be available for participating remotely.

Note:
Child-minding service and transportation assistance will be available for the events below.

June 18, 2022 10:30am – 3:30pm
If you can only participate in one part of the Community Design Workshop, this is the event to attend!
Join your xʷməθkʷəy̓əm friends and family for an Open House and Community Lunch, as part of the Community Design Workshop for Musqueam Reserve #2!
There will be fun events, awards presentations, activities for children, a brief presentation on the Master Plan process, and a salmon lunch. We also have some great door prizes planned!
This will be your chance to review the work of the Master Plan design team and share your input on the future development of our land. Click below to register for the event – virtually or in person!
The Master Plan Community Design Workshop includes six days of community events, small group discussions, virtual options, surveys and open time for you to share your ideas with the design team.
