There are several constraints on the site which impact the land available for development, mainly wetlands, creek buffers, and important heritage and cultural sites, which continue to be studied.
Understanding the phasing and what land will be available based on current lease agreements will define how and when certain areas can be developed.
The land available for development will be at most 224 acres. This does not take into account the historic sites as we are being informed about them from the community.
This reflects the current land use plan from the CCP, which identifies where certain land uses are envisioned. This will inform the master plan as we begin to compile the information we gather from Musqueam members.
